Kimberly Gagnon, MMP

Kimberly has been a full-time Licensed Massage Therapist for 12 years and has a very loyal following. She easily taps into her creative side, but it is the science within her profession that continuously interests her. While she does deliver a calm and restful full body massage, she prefers to work with athletes or those seeking relief of specific chronic pain and tension. She oftentimes utilizes Cupping Therapy, Electronic Stimulation, and other tools to deliver the best results.
When she is not at the spa, she is exploring new destinations with her boyfriend, her 8 year old son, and their Labrador!

In 2017, Kimberly provided 989 massages, averaging about 20 treatments per week. Out of those 989 clients, 671 of those appointments were requests. More than 70% of new clients will schedule for a follow up visit immediately.
In 2018, Kimberly took time away from her work to pursue more education. She acquired 96 hours of advanced training which has sharpened her skills even further, allowing her to deliver better results. Now, Kimberly can:

Assess and treat major pain complaints such as whiplash, torticollis, cervical strain, R.O.M. limitations
Treat major pain complaints such as lumbago, pelvic tilt, post-op back surgery, sciatica
Differentiate postural distortions from the serious (such as Scoliosis, Lordosis, Kyphosis) to the everyday distortions that cause subtle but lingering pain
Correct postural misalignment and treat conditions of the upper extremity including frozen shoulder, rotator cuff strain, tennis elbow
Correct postural misalignment and treat conditions of the lower extremity including shin splints, chondromalacia, plantar fasciitis
Use muscle testing techniques to pinpoint weaknesses and identify muscle imbalances that normally do not show up on a postural evaluation or when typical postural dysfunction patterns are not present
Differentiate between facial, sutural, TMJ, neurologic, structural and vestibular causes that result in migraine, tension, sinus, cluster and other headaches
Accept and differentiate between the various types of insurance, between participating and non-participating providers, how the insurance industry defines massage therapy and nuances of billing in licensed and unlicensed states

"Another trip for the deep tissue massage by Kimberly which again she was amazing. She knows exactly how to work out the knotted muscles and how much pressure to apply; she evaluates the problem including your whole body. I found the staff are extremely knowledgeable, professional and welcoming."
